In 1926, Aunt Irene (Ludwig) and Uncle Pete (Cletus Burns) took a trip to the Great Salt Lake. They appear to have traveled with another couple I can’t identify. The car is packed! Here they make it to Nevada, for sagebrush, and to Elko.

In 1929, Aunt Irene (Ludwig) and Uncle Pete (Cletus Burns) took a trip to San Diego, it seems with another couple (who seem not to be the Boyds of other journeys). In these photos they are at Balboa Park and San Juan Capistrano. Aunt Irene and Uncle Pete in the first photo; the other couple in the second, and Aunt Irene and the other fellow in the third.

I believe the following pages are all of one trip, called the trip to Canada, in July 1931. It seem Aunt Irene (Ludwig) and Uncle Pete (Cletus Burns) went with the Boyds, Ernest and Eva on this trip. Three photos here are of the Columbia River in Oregon, including Horsetail Falls.

Long Barn in the snow in Jan 1932. There is a Long Barn in Tuolumne County which had a lodge built in the 1920’s. This might be where they went on winter holiday. Uncle Pete (Cletus Burns) is in one photo with a child I can’t identify; nor can I identify the other man with two children in the other photo.

Long Barn in the snow in Jan 1932. Uncle Pete (Cletus Burns) and Aunt Irene (Ludwig) are in the group photo. I don’t know the identities of the other 3 adults or 3 children.
